Jamar's Inspiring Story

Meet Jamar Jordan, a Project True success story. From age 4, Project True (formerly YAVO) nurtured his gifts. Discovered to have perfect timing and memory, Jamar excelled in performing arts, playing a role in Ragtime at the Coronado Theater at just 4 years old. Overcoming early challenges, Jamar thrives as a trombonist, band leader, and summer camp leader, defying limitations through Project True's support.

Engaging Activities for All Ages

Project True offers diverse activities: Grades K-5 enjoy hands-on, sensory-rich experiences, literacy, STEM, and play-based learning. Teens in grades 6-12 engage in identity and leadership development, music, digital storytelling, entrepreneurship, and safe spaces for debate. Both groups benefit from Health & Nutrition classes, physical recreation, and theater.

"Project True is rewriting the script. We offer spaces where truth leads, creativity matters, and joy is not optional. We demand more than permission - we claim transformation."
